This database provides a compilation of past Concluding Observations from the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child which are specific to the issue of children of incarcerated parents. The database is intended to assist those working with children of incarcerated parents to advocate for better provision and for fulfilment of their rights, and to assist those responsible for policy affecting children of incarcerated parents to develop responses that meet their needs and uphold their rights. The site was developed by the Quaker United Nations Office on behalf of the Child Rights Connect Working Group on Children of Incarcerated Parents.
